1. Spell check and READ your own e-newsletter. 2. Test your links!
3. Make sure all the names of the executives are spelled correctly.
4. Check to make sure all addresses listed are correct.
5. Call every phone number listed in your site to make sure it’s correct.
6. Test enewsletter on another computer other than your own. Send your enewsletter out to other people in other departments or outside the business to test graphics & links work.
7. Make sure the template information is updated for the season or month (fall/winter/spring/summer).
8. Inform your boss, phone staff and department of focus to ensure they are aware the enewsletter is going out so they can handle inquiries.
9. Make sure the email is going out to the correct target audience- which data base did you choose?
10. Inform your webmaster their may be a spike in visitor volume.
Follow Up: Run reports for open rates, click throughs, bounces & sign-ups.
